Biography

Roger WallerI've enjoyed the outlet of creative expression that art offers from a very young age. At the end of my high school years at Suwannee High School in Live Oak, Florida, I received a small art scholarship for winning 1st prize on a Prismacolor drawing of a puma. Soon after I enrolled in the art program at Young Harris College in Georgia. During my second year, I enlisted in the USAF and was stationed in Rhein Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany where I was an Administration Specialist during the re-unification of Germany and Desert Storm. Upon my Honorable Discharge, I enrolled at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College to earn my Associate Degree in Marketing. Shortly thereafter, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and a Minor in Business Administration, Cum Laude.

After graduation, I was employed by Quad Graphics in the Imaging Department as Macintosh computer and digital file support specialist. A couple of years after, I began freelancing and was designing full-time for West Wind Graphics in Menomonie, Wisconsin. I was subsequently employed after for Bomac-Vets Plus, Inc. for approximately four years until I was laid off as a result of company restructuring. I continue freelancing and practicing my fine art skills as I search for another permanent Graphic Design position.

I appreciate your interest and time. If you are in need of a Graphic Designer or have any questions please contact me. Thank you.
